Excel Inventory

As the Event and Donor Relations Specialist for UBC Sauder School of Business, I utilized Miscrosoft Excel to design a sustainable inventory tracking system. The form was designed using conditional formulas to determine updated numbers to decrease the frequency in which individuals need to manually count the number of items.

Learning Significance

  1. When an individual would track in the "Inventory Records" table the code and amount of stock they took, the "Updated Inventory" tab would automatically update. This allowed us to track not only the users of the inventory, but the numbers while minimizing human error. Through this project, I learned how to use the Developer tab to create buttons and hyperlink to other sheets in the document. This project helped to advance my familiarity and proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
